Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage was hit with a milkshake while on the election trail in Newcastle on Monday.
Independent European Parliament candidate Tommy Robinson and Ukip candidate Carl Benjamin have also both been assaulted with milkshakes.
The assaults have become a viral “protest” meme against right-wing figures, cheered on by the liberal media.

Now the left are throwing milkshakes over Nigel Farage.
The same people who cry if you use the 'wrong pronouns' think it's acceptable to assault those they disagree with.
What makes this worse is the media have endorsed this violence. pic.twitter.com/juGr338FEC

Farage tweeted about the incident saying that “some remainers have become radicalised, to the extent that normal campaigning is becoming impossible.”
Sadly some remainers have become radicalised, to the extent that normal campaigning is becoming impossible.
For a civilised democracy to work you need the losers consent, politicians not accepting the referendum result have led us to this.

According to The Sun, Labour supporter Paul Crowther, 32, from Throckley, Newcastle, claimed to be behind the attack – saying he didn’t regret his actions. He was arrested following the assault.
“I was quite looking forward to (the milkshake), but I think it went on a better purpose,” Crowther told the media while handcuffed. “It’s a right of protest against people like him.”
Prior to the attack, Crowther posted a picture of the milkshake on Twitter, with the caption: “I’d got my milkshake and coincidentally there’s a Brexit Party march.”
In a follow up tweet, he wrote, “I f***ing did it, it was Farage, I can’t believe I did it.”
I fucking did it, it was Farage, I can’t believe I did it.

Earlier this month, Robinson had milkshakes thrown at him twice in two days while out campaigning. Last week, two activists targeted Benjamin with the same tactic.
An attack on Farage was promoted by Burger King on Twitter over the weekend. After McDonald’s in the area of Farage’s visit to Scotland stopped selling milkshakes while he was there at the request of police, the rival burger chain posted that they will continue selling them and urged their followers to “have fun” with them. The company’s social media account ‘liked’ multiple tweets referring to them as Antifa and thanking them for promoting the attacks.
“Dear people of Scotland. We’re selling milkshakes all weekend. Have fun. Love BK #justsaying,” the Burger King UK account tweeted.
