Address the Jewish community at the AIPAC Policy Conference, Mr. President! Welcome Jewish centrists who are fed up with the neo-Nazi Democrats to the pro-Jewish Republican Party.
If Trump chooses to address the AIPAC Policy Conference, he must do what the Democrat Party will not: condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar for her vicious anti-Semitism. Nancy Pelosi shamefully defended Omar after her many anti-Semitic rants and attacks on pro-Israel Americans.
It is a travesty that the vast majority of American Jewish voters support the Democrat Party. Now is a perfect opportunity for Trump to show a clear contrast between Republicans and Democrats, and help chip away at the Democrat Party’s super-majority with American Jewish voters.
“Trump: Republicans ‘waiting with open arms’ for ‘Jexodus’ from Democrats,” by John Bowden, The Hill, March 15, 2019:
President Trump on Friday urged Jewish voters to abandon the Democratic Party in favor of a “Jexodus” to the GOP while touting his administration’s record on foreign policy surrounding Israel.
In a tweet, the president pointed to his decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as well as his rejection of the Iran nuclear agreement as reasons for American Jews to reconsider support for the Democratic Party.
“The ‘Jexodus’ movement encourages Jewish people to leave the Democrat Party. Total disrespect!” Trump tweeted. “Republicans are waiting with open arms. Remember Jerusalem (U.S. Embassy) and the horrible Iran Nuclear Deal!”
Trump and other Republicans have hammered Democrats over alleged anti-Semitism in their ranks in the weeks following controversial comments made by freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who questioned the U.S. relationship with Israel repeatedly in ways that some said were steeped in anti-Semitic tropes.
