CRTV canned Gavin McInnes after merging with Glenn Beck’s The Blaze — prompting a large group of people to cancel their subscriptions in protest.

Michelle Malkin also announced she was leaving the company last week.

In response, Twitter users began posting that they were cancelling Blaze Media paid subscriptions. Hundreds of people vowed to unsubscribe, and urged others to do the same, using the hashtag #CancelCRTV.

The firing of McInnes came shortly after it was revealed that the media had lied about his former group, The Proud Boys, being labeled as an extremist group by the FBI.

“We do not intend and did not intend to designate the group as extremist,” Special Agent in Charge Renn Cannon told the Oregonian.

McInnes has been the target of a successful and sustained deplatforming attack by the liberal media. In August, he was banned from Twitter.

“This is all a coordinated attack to prevent Trump from getting re-elected. It’s pointless however because he’s already won and ironically, it’s because of moves like this,” McInnes told Gateway Pundit at the time of his Twitter suspension.
